The Drama Group

 

Back in 2008 we began

With just a few females and one lonely man

Drama in worship to aid and to praise

To do something different in church on Sundays

We’ve explored new ideas and old ones as well

And had a few laughs as I’m sure you can tell!

From Christmas to Easter and parables too

We’ve approached the ideas with a fresh view

The most important aspect that we all bring

Is to glorify God in everything

 

Performances not only in just Torrington

Bishops Nympton, Alverdiscott and Crediton

Burrington,Okehampton and even Beaford

To use our God given talents as best as we could

Our group has expanded and grown recently

Our one man’s been joined from the pictures you’ll see

They show us at Christmas in various ways

In different costumes, in different plays

We hope that we’ve given a brand new insight

In spreading God’s word and sharing His light.
